About Course
This module provides a comprehensive exploration of global public health challenges and the pursuit of health equity across diverse populations. Learners will examine the structure and function of international health systems, global health organizations, and the impact of transnational health threats such as pandemics, migration, and climate change. The module also addresses the unique health needs of low-resource settings, particularly in maternal and child health and infectious disease control. Emphasis is placed on health equity — understanding and addressing the root causes of disparities, including poverty, education, gender, geography, and social policies. Through real-world case studies, students will explore evidence-based strategies and global collaborations aimed at building resilient health systems and ensuring that all individuals, regardless of background, have access to quality healthcare.
