About Course
This module provides a comprehensive foundation in maintaining excellence and minimizing disruption in construction projects through structured quality, safety, and risk management practices. Learners will explore how to establish and operate robust Quality Management Systems using the PDCA cycle, manage non-conformances, and implement corrective and preventive actions. The module covers critical elements of Occupational Health and Safety (OHS), including proactive safety leadership, behavioral safety programs, and incident investigation techniques. It also introduces methods for identifying and analyzing risks using both qualitative tools like risk registers and heat maps, and quantitative methods such as S-curves and tornado charts. Finally, learners will examine the principles of resilience and business continuity, including developing crisis response plans, navigating health-related disruptions like COVID-19, and addressing emerging risks such as cyber-physical threats.
